"Impmon's Last Stand"

• In the recap for "Digital Beauty," Davis the Narrator tells us that the Devas "were sent by the Sovereign Digimon to take over the world." No, they weren't, they were sent to find a new source of power. At times, though, I do find it hard to fault the dub for making this mistake, as this is never flat-out explained in dialogue.

• While sitting in the shade of the trees, Impmon is coloured somewhat paler than usual.

• As the camera zooms in on Henry and Terriermon on the subway train, there's a solid line around the base of Terriermon's horn, which makes it look like a separate thing that got stuck on to him, rather than being a part of his head.

• When Impmon jumps between the last pair of houses before he turns around to face Calumon, he's got his extra-dark colour scheme. Haven't seen that in a while!

• Impmon says he's heard the laughter before. Um... where?

• As Impmon looks up at Indramon, he's extra dark.

• Riley reports another signal coming from the Juggernaut core - if you didn't realise it, it was Makuramon making his arrival on Earth.

• When Impmon flashes back to his time with Ai and Mako, the dialogue does not match the last time we saw the flashback, in "Divided They Stand." In that episode, the dialogue went as follows:

  AI: You're a big liar! I'm gonna send Impmon after you, and you can bet he'll find out the truth!
  MAKO: Impmon! She's a big brat and a big fat liar!

  But in this episode, it is:

  AI: You're a big liar! Mako was a bad boy and broke my toy, so go and teach him a lesson, your hear me?
  MAKO: Impmon! She's a big brat and she's telling you nothing but lies!

• Jeri tells Guilmon to stop chasing squirrels, which, the astute among you may remember, Guilmon said he liked to do way back in "Digimon, Digimon Everywhere." Points for consistency!

• When Impmon rants, "All you do is follow your pathetic little human around," Renamon's hand is coloured yellow instead of white. It happens again in a few seconds when Impmon talks "leaving his stupid humans."

• In the two scenes when Impmon's data flickers after Indramon lays a beat down on him, he's extra dark (see screenshot).

• When Renamon jumps in and grabs Impmon, you guessed it - extra-dark-me-do, sir.

• When the Horn of Desolation absorbs Growlmon, Kyubimon and Gargomon's attacks, Indramon grows in size. However, the sliding camera effect does not convey this in the best possible manner, plus no sound effect, or extra animation (like, say, perhaps a glow) is used to emphasise the growth. And for all that remains of this episode, no really good sense of scale is given for Indramon, so it's not immediately obvious that he's grown. Hence in the following episode, his clearly portrayed now-gargantuan size can be a little jarring, particularly if you watch the episodes back-to-back.
