THE FANATIC'S GUIDE TO
"Divided They Stand"
English Version Written by Rebecca

Guest Starring: Flybeemon, Harpymon
- The area where Musyamon Bio-Emerged was called the
"Shinjuku Big Guard Cable" by Riley in the previous episode, but in this
episode, Yamaki calls it the "Shinjuku Guard
Rail."
- In Impmon's flashback, when Ai and Mako grab his arms,
they [his arms] are coloured in his extra-dark scheme, as
are the close-ups of his head as he looks back and forth
at the two children.
- When Impmon says, "Not a blasted thing, toots! Now
toodles!" and jumps off the roof, he's extra-dark
again.
- When Impmon yells, "Quit followin' me!" I'll
bet you can guess what colour he is...
- Harpymon is an Armour Digivolution of Hawkmon, but has a
female voice. In fairness, however, she also has a very
female appearance, and is named after a mythological
monster that was also female. In that respect, it's
really quite peculiar that she's an evolution of
Hawkmon's at all (but then, Hawkmon's upper forms are not
without gender confusion of their own).
- When Renamon makes her short speech, starting with,
"I could load the data of every opponent I
fight..." her mouth isn't moving - because it's not
THERE. There are plenty of instances where Renamon
speaks, and you don't see her mouth move, but that's
because her head is often at such an angle where her
mouth isn't visible. From this viewpoint, however, we
should be able to see it - but it's missing. It's
possible she may be thinking the words, rather than
saying them out loud, but if so, no echo or distortion is
applied to them to convey this.
- Harpymon doesn't appear to move her mouth when she
screams her attack, but she opens it wide when she gets
stabbed...
- Kyubimon's feet and tail-tips are at last moving and
flickering like fire throughout her appearance this
episode (except in the stock footage, naturally),
complete with crackling sound effects.
