• Recognisable faces in the crowd at the soccer field are: Kenta, Jeri, Ayaka, Mr. Iwamoto, Kazu, Takato and Miss Asaji.

• Takato's class is now rather different. While Takato is still in his seat by the window, the generic kids in the room are different to those in "Guilmon Comes Alive," and the various class members that we will see more of in the future are now visible. Notably, Ayaka is sitting adjacent to Takato.

• When Miss Asaji addresses the class, sitting directly in front of her is a boy with brown hair, wearing a green shirt. Behind him is another boy in a different-shade-of-green shirt. Adjacent to him is an oriental-looking kid in a yellow shirt with red trim, and behind this oriental-looking kid is a boy in a blue shirt. However, when the angle changes and Miss Asaji gives the green-shirted boy the test papers, the arms which reach from the seat behind him are wearing a pink shirt, the adjacent seat is now occupied by a brown-haired boy in a blue shirt, and behind this blue-shirted boy is a dark-haired boy in a yellow shirt (i.e.: Everything except Green Shirt is different). We'll later learn in "Duel With the Deva" that the dark-haired, yellow-shirted boy is named Jeremy.

• The three boys (right) who discuss the vandalising of the soccer field are:

  Yuuji Terayama (brown hair, blue shirt)
  Taizou Aoyama (buzz-cut hair, red shirt)
  Tadashi Nakabayashi (chubby one in the yellow shirt)

  These boys are never referred to by name, but will continue to put in appearances in various scenes in future episodes.

• When Jeri is relating her encounter in the infirmary to Takato, she notes that she "moved in like a lion." A nice bit of probably unintentional foreshadowing to her future partner, there!

• It's rather unusual that Calumon is darker than the actual cabinet, isn't it? Especially given that his eyes are glowing, which you'd imagine would illuminate the area a little.

• The timeframe for Calumon's chalk-related antics seems a bit skewed. Now, obviously, he was the one who drew all over the field, but when he's doing it the second time, he acts as if it's the first time he's done it - though it's probably just a result of his dialogue being expository.

• The boy Kazu is playing the card game against is the unnamed Michael look-a-like who last appeared in "Digimon, Digimon Everywhere." He's now wearing his generic clothes (red shirt and grey pants), which he'll be wearing each time he appears from now on.

• In Takato's first fantasy, when Guilmon swings at Calumon, the stripe on the cuff on his boxing glove is coloured red instead of white (see screenshot).

• When Takato and Henry watch Suzie playing, she identifies her doll as "Miss Pretty Pants." While this is the first appearance of the concept, in the future it is referred to as "Princess Pretty Pants."

• When Suzie says, "Let's dress for the ball!" in Takato's second fantasy, she pronounces the 'r' in "dress" correctly.

• The pronunciation of Vilemon's name has changed from season one - rather than "Vile-mon," it's now "Veel-ah-mon."

• The scenes of the camera moving down from the top of the school and the three kids running up to the soccer field are looped from the start of the episode.

• Similarly, the pan-across of the crowd is also re-used, up until the girls with orange and brown hair, after the principal, when a new section with Yuuji, Tadashi and Taizou is added in.
