• Takato has trouble confirming that Guilmon is a Rookie, and yet in "Guilmon Comes Alive," he specifically stated that he was.

• It's not a mistake, or anything, but I've always wondered, what exactly IS the little 'house' that Guilmon takes up residence in? Shiroi Hane helpfully points out that whatever it is, it's based on a real thing that exists in Shinjuku - click here for a pic, as photographed by Chiaki Konaka himself, booyah. Still, doesn't answer the question.

• Suzie has her speech impediment now, and she's got the higher pitch to her voice that she'll retain until the end of the series.

• Are Rika and Renamon communicating telepathically as Rika waits at the crosswalk? They'd have to be, or Rika would be getting a lot of odd looks.

• You'd think that Takato, an avid player of the Digimon card game, would know what Modify Cards are, wouldn't you?

• Who dropped the card that Yamaki finds? It would have to have been Rika, being the only one with cards on her, but she doesn't strike me as being that careless about the objects that give Renamon the strength that Rika is so obsessed about at the minute.

• The girls who Jeri leaves with are:

Ayaka Itou (striped shirt, ponytails)
Miki Nakajima (blue dress, purple hair - Jeri refers to her by name)
And a third, nameless girl, with brown hair, a pink shirt, and cream dungarees. She's in the lineart book for the series, but no name is given for her in it.

These girls will make several appearances in future episodes.

• For being the mode of transport of a secret government organisation, you'd think those Hypnos trucks would be more inconspicuous. I mean, Takato figures out what they are right away.

• Wendee Lee is the voice of both the small boy that Takato and Guilmon meet, and his mother.

• Renamon leaps straight over a car that she is facing from the side - but when she powers up her Diamond Storm, another car that Terriermon is standing beside is at a different angle to Renamon than the car she leapt over, when it should be the same. When the Diamond Storm then hits the car, it's at the correct angle.

• Gargomon's got an awfully happy-looking grin on his face for someone who can't control weapons of destruction, doesn't he? The reason for this being, of course, that in the original Japanese version, he was kinda drunk on the power.

• This Gargomon's attack is called "Gargo Laser," rather than "Gargo Pellet," as it was for the Gargomon in "Digimon: The Movie."

• When Guilmon tackles Gargomon, he has his arm pointed directly at Rika, but he didn't in the previous scene. Again, the reason for this is that in the previous scene, his arm (i.e.: a gun) was masked (painted over) from the original version. Check out the comparison screenshot at right.
