THE FANATIC'S GUIDE TO
"Kazu and Kenta's Excellent
Adventure"
English Version Written by Seth Walther
Guest Starring: Jijimon, Babamon
- At the end of the previous episode,
Rika and Renamon were going to get Kazu and Kenta out of
the Data Stream's path. But at the beginning of this
episode, they're now running in front of them!
- Renamon remarks that the world has changed since she
left, and has become barren. Well, that's a load of
twaddle, because as we'll later see, this barren desert
plain has been around since the very beginning.
- Rika is standing right next to Kazu and Kenta while they
sleep, but then when they wake up and crawl over to her,
the distance between them has increased to the point
where they crawl in from off screen. Also, while they
were sleeping, Kazu was on the left, and Kenta was on the
right, but when they crawl in, their positions have
switched. This is because the American version removed a
scene where Rika kicked Kazu to wake him, and he rolled
over on top of Kenta, accidentally kissing him on the
cheek.
- Digimon husband and wife, Jijimon and Babamon, are voiced
by real-life husband and wife, Tom Fahn and Dorothy
Elias-Fahn.
- Jijimon claims that "with these kids, we could
Digivolve!" Digivolve into what? They're already
Megas! It's possible that they think they could Digivolve
the kids, as they make them their Digimon.
- Right after Kenta proclaims himself
"MegaMightyKentamon," Babamon calls him
"MightyMegaKentamon."
- While Kazu and Kenta roar and growl, they seem to be
mimicking Makuramon's "Maka!" screech noise.
- Is anyone else as shocked as I am that the scene where
Babamon grabs her breasts and shakes them at Kazu and
Kenta made it through to the dub?
